Our history – a path of growth and innovation<\/h6>\n\n\n\n

Kai and Florian H. Wilms founded their first insurance brokerage firm in Cologne 25 years ago.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dynamic business development in the first 5 years fuelled their ambition not only to secure and strengthen their position, but also to expand. This goal was successfully realised for the first time in 2008 through the merger with Global Assekuranz in Koblenz.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Since then, GLOBAL GROUP\u2019s leadership, together with the M&A team, have completed more than 100 successful transactions and grown the company into a leading brokerage group in the region and beyond.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In June 2024, Thomas Wang took over as CEO of the GLOBAL GROUP. With almost 30 years’ of experience as a member of the Management Board at the Funk Group and most recently as Regional CEO at Gallagher, he brings extensive expertise to the further development of the Group. The GLOBAL GROUP continues to focus consistently on a sustainable ‘buy and build’ strategy, successful integration and strong organic growth. Today, the GLOBAL GROUP is one of the top players in the commercial and corporate sector, specialities and MGA markets.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
